BURGLARY AT BIRKENHEAD.
Early on Saturday morning the In**, shop of Mr S. Roberts, of B_fci«]ZT was entered by burglars, and .'ioodtt the value of ten shillings were «tr* ° cd. Mr E. Roberts,.on opeaiitt at 8 o'clock discovered marks of a crow bar on the. front door, and oh the floor beneath, whilst the bottom of the X ing door at the side of the bml_i_ **« found wrenched open. The tini_JkZ taken from beneath the counter and %ft on the top. Fortunately '■]_r Robert* had taken the bulk of the cash home the previous evening, but the few coppers left in the till were found intact 7^
