A strange story comes from Whangnroa. While lishing at Whangaroa Heads a few days ago. two Dutchmen lost their anchor, aud the boat was driven before a south-east wind. Being entirely ignorant of the management of a boat, they simply placed themselves face downwards in the hottom of the boat. After drifting for many hours, they were finally driven on the beach at Waiharara, about 50 miles north of their starting point, none the worse for their exposure, except for a few blisters on their bodies from sunburn,
