HENDERSON-AVONDALE TRAIN SERVICE.
(To the Editor.) Sir, — WU\ you kindly allow mc a small space in your valuable paper to bring before the powers that be a great boon they can confer upon the residents of Henderson, Avcndale. and district by putting on a late train each night during the holidays, say from Christmas Eve till the following Saturday week. The various places of amusement are unavailable to us. as there is at present only a late train on Saturday night, and as that leaves at 10.35 visitors have to enme out before the entertainment is over. If the railway authorities could spc thoir way clear to make the train 11 o'clock they would r-onfer a great favour upon a community who seldom hare a chance to see a good play or hear a good concert. —I am. etc., SETTLER.
