While a team of horses drawing one of Winstone's Avaggons were drinking at the Shortland-street water trough this morning tiny became frightened and made off down Shortland-street. The end of the waggon pole caught the trough aud pulled the of it right off, the impetus carrying the iron into the middle of the road. The driver pulled his team up at the corner of Queen-street. Smith and Caughey, Ltd., have just opened up a big shipment of boys sailor suits with plain and fancy collars. Sec window display. —Ad.
