ANOTHER CASE REPORTED

An outbreak of anthrax has occurred on Thompson Bros', farm at Kihikihi, two heifers dying. Mr J; H. Lyons, the Government vet., conducted a post-mor-tem, and sent the slides to headquarters in Wellington. His diagnosis i 3 confirmed, the disease being undoubtedly anthrax. The cattle were feeding on turnips, a first crop on virgin soil, manured by bonedust.
