HELENSVILLE AGRICULTURAL ASSOCIATION.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —As a well-wisher of the Helensville Agricultural Association, I have been waiting for the annual balance-sheet and auditors' report to be placed before members. As time is getting on and it was decided at the last meeting to hold the next show on a more suitable ground.. I think something ought to be done to get the new ground in order at once, to enable us to hold as good and up-to-date a show as possible for the size of the district, and not a purely local affair. If the next show is well advertised and worked on good business lines we might hope to draw exhibitors from other parts of the country whose stock, etc, we would be enabled to compare with the local cattle, and thus possibly learn something by comparison.—l am, etc,
