WELLINGTON, this day. THE GOLD DUTIES BILL.
The Gold Duties Bill, giving the Government power from time to time to allocate gold duties produced in neighbouring ooroughs and counties, among such in proportions as it deems just, will meet with considerable opposition in the House, objection being made on placing additional patronage in the hands of the Government. A number of amendments arc expected to be made in Committee on Thursday, with the object of paying the proportions on a fixed basis. THE TOTE BILL. The TotaMsator Bill comes on to-night.
