Glorious weather favoured the opening day of the Napier Park races. The course is in line order. The attendance is good. Hack Hurdles.—Comfort 1,, lvags 2, Ogle ti. Won easily. Time, 2-5. Dividends, £2 11/ and £1 2/. Stewards' Handicap.—Wadmoe 1, Camelot 2. Tradewhid 3. All started. Won by two lengths, Camelot just beating Tradewind for second place. Time, 2.16 2-5. Dividends. £S 6/ and £1 11/. Hurdles. —Mourner 1, Meteor 2, Kohunui o. All started. Vt'o-n easily by four lengths. Time, c!. 54 2-5. Dividend, £4 3/.
