PAKURANGA HUNT CLUB.

V E STEED AY' S ME ET.

As arranged for the convenience of the Waiuku visitors, the hounds of the Pakuranga Hunt Club were released in the vicinity of Otahnliu yesterday. The club met at the Otahuhu Monument, mustering about (JU strong, aud the pack was thrown off at Mr Henwood's property. The dogs soon raised a hare, but the scent was weak, and puss dodged about very confusingly, at last being run to earth with much trouble. Better luck was experienced in the direction of Mangoro; where the hounds roused a strong running hare. There followed one of the most exhilarating runs the club has had this season, puss being killed near the basin. The last stages of the run were with hare aud hounds in full view. Mr TV. McLaughlin, deputy master, had charge of the run.
