Drunkenness.—A first offender was convicted and discharged for drunkenness, and another, who did not appear, forfeited £1 bail. James Roach, who had been previously convicted recently, was fined 20/ or seven days, and a negro named Daniel,, also with a sho;rt record, was fined .10/ and costs or' 48 hours.
Maintenance.—Richard Gainsf ord, a marine steward, was ordered to pay 10/ per month towards thejnaintenance of his son in an industrial school.
