NO. 1 OHINEMURI COMPANY.

PAEROA, this day.
A shooting competition commenced on Saturday afternoon at the Paeroa range for a very handsome cup presented to the No. 1 Ohinemuri Company by Mr J. Gamblett. The conditions are that the cup is to be fired for every three months, and to be won twice in succession or three times at intervals, before it becomes the absolute property of the competitor. A shooting outfit was given by Private Roache to the two highest second class shots, and was won by Pt. Moore and Lt. Nathan, who divided It. There were 18 for the different prizes, and the totals were: —Pt, Roach (scratch), 92; Sergt. Shaw (scratch), 91; Pt. Moore (G),. 90;. Lieut. Nathan (10), 90; Corp. Deinerley (scratch), 88; Lieut. Hubbard (scratch), 85.
