CABINET-MAKING.
SOME SECEETS OF THE TEADE
It isn't generally known, says a writer in the "Herald" that some common trades have their special secrets and their peculiar dangers.
The "Herald" takes cabinet-mak-ing as an example, and publishes an interesting conversation with Mr. Charles Wunsch, a prominent figure in Normanby trade circles. A continual bending over work, the use of irritating and perhaps poisonous wood stains, and the muscular exertion of polishing, constitute (says a well-informed writer) special dangers. "Contracted positions have a known influence on the nerves, and," said Mr. Charles Wuns?ch when interviewed at his home at Normanby, near Hawera, "acute sciatica crippled me until I used Dr. Williams' pink pills. Sharp, shooting pains came in my left thigh and knee. The agony beggared description. My nerves were all on edge, and my blood was weak and watery. In winter the agony was excruciating. Embrocations and doctor's medicines did no good, and sometimes every movement brought a spasm of sharp, stinging pain. Eighteen moa'.bs ago filends in Normanby," added Mr. *Wunsch, "persuaded me to try Dr. Williams' pink pills. Ah! They're a grand nervetonic, for the very first box braced me up. By the time I had used four boxes the pains left me altogether. My nerves were soothed and strengthened and my blood was enriched. My health now is excellent," concluded Mr. Wunsch, "notwithstanding the fact that I continue working in contacted positions whilst engaged in cabinet-making."
Cabinet-makers, carpenters, sewing machinists, postmen and like workers are especially liable to sciatica on account of the continual irritation to the sciatic nerve which their duties entail. Especially severe cases of sciatica in Hastings, Southland, Canterbury, Napier and elsewhere have been cured by Dr. Williams' pink pills, made from the special New Zealand formula, and put up in small wooden boxes. Bottled substitutes, of course, are worthless. The genuine N.Z. pills cure all blood and nerve complaints by enriching the blood, and.bracing up the nerves. They banish sciatica, neuralgia, nervous exhaustion and headaches, hysteria, fits, paralysis, anaemia, debility and indigestion. Price three shillings per box, six boxes sixteen and six, post free. Those cured of sciatica by them also include prominent residents in Wellington, Auckland, Hawke's Bay, Dunedin, Christchurch and the West Coast. ;.,'..
