THE LATE SIR F. SARGOOD.
WBLLINGTON, Sunday. '
Sir Frederick Sargood's. death resulted from syncope, brought on, it is- supposed, by the rough coach journey from Mioarvvhango to Taihape. When he retired on Thursday night he was in his usual health. Early next morning Lady Sargood was aroused by her husband breathing heavily. He was then in a state of collapse, and unable to speak. After gasping- for a few seconds he expired. The body was brought down to Wellington, arriving at midday on Satttr-
da\r. It has been embalmed, and will be sent over to Sydney by the Warrimoo next Friday.
