In the inter-State cricket match Victoria v. New South Wales, VieNoonan (not out) 10, having the only toria's first innings closed for 93, other double figure. Mcßeth .took four wickets for nine runs, Pye two for 14, Noble two for 42. New South Wales, in the second innings, scored 212—Trumper 22, Duff 06, Noble 60. Collins took six wickets for 54 rvms, Armstrong three for 51. Victoria, in their second innings, lost no wickets for 57.
