AUSTRALIAN ALLIANCE ASSURANCE COMPANY.
(Received 9.30 a.m.)
MELBOURNE, this day. An important action has been commenced by Webster, a policy holder, against the chairman and directors of the Australian Alliance Assurance Company. The plaintiff is acting for himself and other policy holders. He alleges that the directors paid twice as much to the shareholders as ought to have, been paid, to the loss of the policy holders. No fraud is imputed, payment being attributed to misreading of the deed of association.
