The Norwegian wooden ship Telefon, a vessel of 1178 tons (formerly the British ship Louisa WhitmOre), bound from Norfolk, Virginia, to Cardiff, was abandoned in a waterJ&gged condition al sea* Thirteen of the crew, including all the officers, were drowned. The rest have been landed at Cornwall.
