SHAREMARKET.
A sharp advance in the price of Bunker's Hill shares took place on the Exchange to-day. Sales started at 8/2, but by noon 8/9 was reached, with buyers left at the same price. This is a rise of 1/7 per share since Saturday morning. Hauraki Freeholds have not risen in sympathy this time, but a sale was reported at 1/2. Tairua Broken Hill shares were easier to-day, being sold at 8/3 and 8/. Waihi Extendeds were a shade firmer, sales being reported at 1/7, with buyers left at 1/6. Talisman Consolidated shares changed hands at 17/6, at which rate more shares could be placed. Standard lines had steady buyers at last week;s rates.
