DUNEDIN, this day
James Isted, eighty years of age, was drowned in_a dam near Tapanui. He appears to have attempted to cross the race near the entrance u> the dam and became confused. He leaves a grown up family. TIMARU, this day. Thomas Dennison, an old age pensioner, living at Burkes Pass, was accidentally thrown from a trop on Saturday and 'killed. • WHANG ARE!, this day. Frank Morey, son of Mr Morey, settler, of Parua. Bay, had his face badly burned when playing with blasting powder.
