VOLUNTEER NOTES.
The members of the Devonport Coastguard Artillery fired a handicap match at Mount Eden range on Saturday, for, a money prize, open to N.C.O.'s and men. The conditions were five shots each at three positons, lying, kneeling, and standing. Gunner Thomas proved the winner, the four highest score sebinsr:—
Lvng. Knl. Stn. Tl. Lieut. Lees (scr) .... IS 20 19 — 57 Gun. Thomas (5pts).. 19 18 14 — 56 Lieut. Gardner (scr).. 19 19 16 — 54 Corp. Griffiths (3pts).. IS 19 12 — 52 The match, for Mrs Lindsay's cud and company's medal was postponed on account of the small attendance.
