CRICKET.
THE CHAMPIONSHIP DRAW,
The' management committee of the Auckland Cricket Association met last evening, Mr F. J. Ohlson, chairman of committee, presiding. It was decided to open the season on Saturday next. October 18, and to arrange two comuetitions in the second grade, to be classified A and B. The Ponsonby and North Shore Clubs will play in the A grade, thus leaving four teams in the senior competition, dispensing with-byes in this grade. The draw for gthe incoming season's competitions was made and resulted as under:— FIRST GRADE. October IS and 25: Auckland v. Parnell. Unite! v, Gordon. November 1 and 8: Auckland v.
