CONCERT AT GREY LYNN

A well-attended concert was held in St. George's Hall last evening in aid of the widow and seven children of the late Mr. Thomas Wallis. The programme was varied, and encores were frequently demanded. Mr. F. Brag-g-e contributed a pianoforte solo, little Miss Georgina Thorn tlanced a Highland Fling, Mr. R. Harding gave a song and clance, Misses ,T. and F. Fell gave a double song and dance, and Mr. A. Elder, sailor's hornpipe. Cuon songs were sung by Miss Mariu Pollard, and a coon speciality waS given by Messrs. Chatwin and Howard, as well as a comic speciality. Selections on whistles were, played by Messrs. Leslie and Smithson, and a mandolin and banjo contribution by Messrs. Hudson, Doree and Moody. Mr. J. Smithson sang "A Sweet Bunch of Daisies." and took part wit.i Messrs. C. and F. Leslie in a vocal trio. Mr. Walter Howard gave several comic songs, as did also Mr Frank Whitehead. "Christmas Day in a Workhouse" was also rendered by Mr. J. Donovan. The concert concluded with the farce "The Tables Turned," in wOiieh the respective characters were represented by Mr C B. Goulfe. Mr. Walter Howard, Misses Marie Pollard and Penne.
