EFFECTS OF THE DROUGHTS.
BRISBANE, July 12
The Minister for Railways, in declining a request not to impose increased freights, said in 1893 there were 21,000,000 sheep and 7,000,000 cattle in Queensland. Now there were anly four or five million sheep and about throe millidn cattle.
