LADIES' GOEF CDUB.
The driving, approaching and putting competitions in connection with the Auckland .Ladies' Golr Club were held yesterday afternoon. Miss Morrison wop the prize for driving, with an aggregate ot" 300 yds for three drives. Other scores were: Miss J. Richmond, 260 yds; Mrs W. R. Bloomfield, 239 yds; Miss M. Richmond, 195 yds; Miss J. Draper, 104 yds. .The. approaching competition (decided in three distances, 70yds, 56yds and 20yds) resulted: .Mrs W. R. Bloomfield, Miss M. Richmond and Miss R- Buckland, each 11 stiokes; Miss J. Draper, Mrs Peel, Miss J. Richmond and Miss Shuttleworth, each 12 strokes; Miss Pierce. 14 strokes; Miss Ware and Miss Torrance, each 16; Mrs A. Clark, 17. In the play-off between th" Href three the scores were: Mrs Bloomfield and Miss Richmond, each 11; Miss Buckland, 14. When the. second tie was played off Miss Richmond carried off the prize with nine, against Mrs Bloomfield's ten. The putting competition, also decided in three distances, resulted: Miss Torrance, Miss Daisy Stevensen, and Miss Rook, each five strokes; Mis-* Clarlc. Mrs McCosh Clark, Miss C. Draper. Mrs W. R. Bloomfield and Miss J. Draper, each six; Mrs Peel, Miss J. Richmond, Miss M. Richmond and Miss Pierce, each seven: Miss P. Clark, Miss Buckland, Miss Shuttleworth, Miss A. Stevenson, Miss Morrison, Mrs A. Clark, Mrs Holmes and Miss Ware, each eight. The tie between the three first-named, when played off, resulted In a win for Miss Daisy Stevenson with six strokes. Miss Torrance did It in seven and Miss Rook In nine.
