WEDNESDAY MATINEE.
(To the Editor.)
i-Vir, —Ypur correspondent, signing himself "An Admirer," in last night's issue, wants a Wednesday matinee. Surely he might have a little consideration for those artists who entertain us so well with their nightly performances. Perhaps were "Admirer" one of the Company, doing his late night's graft before the footlights, with a morning rehearsal thrown in, to say nothing of the matinee on Saturday, he might prefer a fishing excursion, or something less exciting tha;n extra overtime on the sta,ge. I am sure the suggestion will not appeal to the management of what appears to- ■be an already over-worked Company.—l am, etc.,
AN UNSELFISH ADMIKEE.
