Sir, —Tb.9 drainage of Admiralty House has been let to G. Knight and Co., drainage contractors, of Auckland. It is quite, a new drainage, system in Auckland, having never been in use here before., ami when completed wiU be the best-drained house in the city. 'It is under the management of Mr J. Armishaw, Mr Knight's foreman, and late of Wellington Drainage; Company. I think some of our %City Fathers, when they go up to Admiralty House, 'should examine this up-to-date system.—l am, etc., J.
