WAKAPUAKA, this day,
Mr Frank Heaps, son of Mr Wilson Heaps, Collector of Customs at Nelson, has received an appointment under the Pacific Cable Board, and joins the Doubtless Bay staff immediately. Mr Heaps has been for several years in the service of the Eastern Extension Cable Company, and has had considerable experience in the East.
