A meeting of those interested in having Mr Webster's creamery in Hamilton feast opened to receive milk was held there on Friday. The Cambridge Dairy Association had offered to open it provided milk from 300 cows was guaranteed. Since then, however, the.largest intending supplier had soU his dairy herd- of 70 cows, and the required number was not forthcoming. Mr C. Day, of Tamahj2re, has, however, offered to run a creamery for the> lesser number, 220, which has been guaranteed, and another meeting will be held on Friday to finally settle the business.
