PARNELL.
Nominations for the office of Mayor of Parnell closed at noon to-day. Mr John Fitt, who was nominated, yesterday by Messrs A. E. Brook , and Geo. Foster, Avas the only candidate, and he was declared elected by Mr Gilmour, returning officer.
