FLOOD AT THAMES.

THAMES, this day
Kauaeranga and other streams are in flood, and the lower end of the flat at Parawai is submerged. Some kauri logs jumped the booms. Mr. Deeble has lost a hundred pigs and several sheep. Many gardens are destroyed. The flood is now subsiding.
