CHEISTCHKUCH, Wednesday.

This evening a man named Short was having an altercation with his wfife, whol is separated from him, when a cyclist, attracted by the high words, drew near to the couple. Short Idrew a revolver and fired at the cyclist, who made on. Short was seized by persons who were attracted by the report, ana handed over to the police.
