The Tyser liner Reigate left New York on the 3rd January for Mei..^.....j, Sydney, and New Zealand ports. The barque Alcestis went into the stream this afternoon in readiness to sail for Kaipara to load timber for Sydney. Transhipments ex steamer Westralia, from Melbourne and Hobart, and ship Auckland, from London, arrived per Te Anau from the South this morning. The schooner Cooloon, now due from Sydney, has been recently purchased by the Colonial Sugar Refining Company, who intend usjng her as a barge between Auckland and Chelsea.
