RACING NEWS.
The s.s. Pakeha arrived on Saturday from England, having on board Messrs L. D. and N. A. Nathan's St. Simon sire Fitzsimmons, who is to be subjected to the necessary veterinary tests before being landed. The Pakeha will it is expected be berthed at the wharf this evening.
„ Cannongate is to be shipped South to-morrow by the Waikaxe to fulfil his New Zealand Grand National engagements.
Seahorse, who was sold last week, is to be sent as far as Napier by the Waikare, and will proceed first opportunity to England.
