THE OMAPERE.
The s.s. Omapero arrived from East Coast ports at 5 o'clock on Saturday evening. The purser reports that after calling at 1 Napierl' and1 Gisbornc!, she finished working the coast at 8 p.m. on Friday, and arrived as above. Thick weather, with northerly breezes and frequent rain, was experienced from Whangaparoa to White Island; thence light variable winds and smooth sea to arrival.
