A WILL CASE.

A will of a unique nature was the subject of an application in the Supreme Court in Chambers this morning, before Mr Justice Conolly. The will was that of the late liobert Hall and Archibald Hull, two bachelor settlers of the Whnngarei district. These two brothers, who lived together on their farm, known as "Motu-muka"' ("Flax-clump"), in the Tangihua district, Whangarei County, made a joint ■will some years ago, as joint owners of the fa-rm, to the effect that the farm, stock, etc., and all their money and property should, in the event of the death of either of them, go to' the survivor, and in the event of both of them dying without direct heirs, all the -property to go to the five children of their late brother, David Hall. Robert Hall, one of the brothers, died on. the 7th of last month, and the survivor, Archibald, made application for letters of administration, with will annexed. The application was set down, but owing to the absence of the judge in Wellington was not dealt with immediately. On the 29th ult. Archibald died also, snr-, viving his brother by only about three weeks. At the Court this morning Mr Stewart moved for letters oi' administration on behalf of the children of the brother David named in the -will. His Honor granted the letters of administration, with will annexed, as prayed, to Kobert Hall, one of the sons of David Hall, the rest of the children consenting. His Honor saM he had never previously come across a will of this nature.
