ARCH HILL DRAINAGE SCHEME.
LOAN PROPOSAL ADOPTED
The poll taken on Saturday at Arch Hill resulted in the majority of ratepayers voting in favour of the proposal to borrow £ 1500 for drainage purposes. Out of 95 votes recorded, 79 were for the proposed loan, and 14 against. The vote was therefore in favour of a loan by a majority of 65.
