SUPPOSED DEATH BY DROWNING.

Inspector Cullen received a telegram to-day from Constable Moore, of Rawene, stating that a bush contractor named James Graham is believed to have been drowned at Omahutu. Graham had been missed from camp since 2.30 p.m. on Saturday, and his coat was found by the side of a creek. It is believed that he fell into the creek while making excavations on the bank. When the messenger left Omahutu some twenty bushmen were searching for the body.
