DUNEDIN, Friday,

At the Police Court Robert Mahone, John McNab and James Cooper were committed for trial on a charge of assault and robbei'3'. A man named Long had come to tpwn, and after spending the day with a man went to the Waverley Hotel, where they were refused drink. When Long left he was, he alleges, followed by accused, and while Cooper and Mahone went through him McNab kept watch. T!ail was allowed.
