SHAREMAEKET.
Several transactions were reported to-day in standard lines, but mining stocks had little attention. New Zealand Insurance shares sold at 68/3. and old issue River Plate at 19/. Sales were also made of Taupiri Coal at 17/3 and 18/2. Bujers of Bank of New Zealand shares again advanced to 49/ to-day, but sellers did not quote. Gas shares firmed in price, £13 15/ and £ 11 10/ being offered for old and new issues respectively.
