A fire at Smith and Smith's oil and colour warehouse was smartly extinguished by the Brigade just after day-lig-ht, but ix. considerable part, of the stock was damage?-* by fire and wate.r. The insurance are: Buildings—National £1000, Standard £500. Contents—North British £1500, Manchester '£1000, Standard £1000, National, Royal and Alliance, £500 each.
