TE PUKE GOLD REEFS.

The development works in the upper level of this mine have resulted in encouraging prospects being obtained. Dujang the whole distance of Gift fair gold prospects were found. Near the footwall of the lode colours of gold were seen. The drive along the footwall now extends 20ft, the prospects improving all along. Large quartz blocks show the gold freely through them, and some rich stone has been secured. Representatives of English companies are expected to inspect the mine shortly.
