Business was a little brisker on the Exchange to-day. New Zealand Insurance sold at 68/(5, with further buyers at (id less. N.Z. Accident Insurance changed hands at 36/6, with no further sellers under 40/. Taupiri coals hardened 3d, without business resulting. D.S.C. stock advanced 2d, other-prices being unaltered. In mining stocks Chelmsfords sold at 2/3, further buyers at 2/2. Waihi Souths sold at lljd, with further inquiries at the same figure, and Waihi Beach Uniteds at 6d. Barrier Reefs hardened a little, 3/ being offered, while Waihi Extendeds experienced a drop of 3d.
