WELLINGTON, this day,

The Governor leaves Wellington for the North to-day. He will travel hy ruil through the Wairarapa to the Makohine viaduct, and from there will drive to Te Aroha, via Taupo, Rotorua, Tauranga, and Katikati. At Te Aroha he will take train for Auckland, where he. will stay for five op six days. He intends to travel from Auckland to Te Kuiti by rail, and to drive thence to Palmerston North, via Awakino, New Plymouth, and Hawera. The trip is expected to oe* cupy six weeks.
