ANCIENT FINDS IN MEXICO.

In excavating- for (lie drainage system which is being installed in the city of Mexico, a number of articles were found which belonged to a period previous to the invasion of Cortez. Some of the articles found were golden ornaments with which the Aztec g-ods were decorated. On the extension of the Mexican. Central Railway, workmen dug- out £10,000 in gold and silver coins, the Government and the workmen sharing- equally under the old law of treasure trove.
