FLEMINGTON, February 23
San Fran ran 12 furlongs this morning- in 2.50. Bride and Dreamland g-ot over 12 furlongs in 2.52. Advance and Boreas galloped five furlongs in 1.5. Advance went particularly well, doing his work easily. N Finland and Fleet \dmiral ran a mile in 1.52, Watch Dog half a mile in 55i sees.. Fulminate half a mile in Glßees, La Carabine and Clean Sweep 14 furlongs in 3.16*. Betting: Newmarket HandicapWakeful, at G to J, well backed; Fulminate and Watchdog-, 12 to 1. both backed for £2000; Advance, 10 to 1. firmer; Fortune Teller, bucked for £5000, is now at 25 to 1.
