A property at Waiuku, consisting of 17 acres, with a cottage, was sold for £70 at Cochrane's rooms this morning.
The Rev. R. F. Macnicol, minister of St. James' Presbyterian Church, was stricken with paralysis on Monday hist while on the way to attend the sitting of the General Assembly, lie was landed at New Plymouth, where he received medical attention, and he is now progressing- favourablj', his condition to-day showing considerable improvement. The broken bottles in the Domain
on Saturday afternoon were a sourco of danger, particularly to children. One boy fell and suffered a severe cut on the leg. He was taken to the hospital and had to undergo an operai tion, _.
