PARNELL.
The proclamation announcing- the succession of King- Edward VII. was read at Parnell by the Mayor (Mr Hugh Campbell) before a large and enthusiastic crowd. The National Anthem was nnvg and three cheers were given for His Majesty, and after ■the ceremony the Mayor and Councillors were entertained by Mr Tomlinson at the Exchange, where the usual loyal toasts were drunk.
