The Wellington Trotting Club's meeting was held in fine weather. The following are the results:—
Trial Handicap.—Vanquish 1, Sunny Days 2, Revenge 3. Also ran: Plunger, Epuni, Clyde, Harkaway, Hilda and Naughty Girl. Time, 5m 51s. Dividend, £1 1/.
Railway Stakes.—Strathmore 1, Faithful 2, Viotta 3. Also ran: Veto and Vickery. Time, 4m Bs. Dividend, £3 9/.
Trotting- Club Handicap.—The Member 1, Nantes 2, Daybreak 3. Also ran: Redmire. Time, 5m 16s. Dividend, £7 8/.
District Handicap.—Eddie 1, Steve Hart 2, Hilda 3. Also ran: Revenge, Epuni, Clyde 11., Brookfield, Comet, Chaos,' Naughty Girl, Montreal, Viotta, and Gentil. Time, 5m 555. Dividend, £1.
President's Handicap.—Berlin Maid 1, Answer 2, Flavia 3. Also started: Dewdrop, Dolly Varden, Daybreak, Lord Harold. Time, 3m 58s. Dividend, £3.
Dash Handicap.—Valor 1, Monte Carlo 2, Vickery 3. These were the only starters. Time, 2m 395. Dividend 15s.
Electric Handicap.—Sweet Marie 1, Honour 2, Periperi 3. Also ran: Harkaway, Comet, Steve Hart, Trio Naughty Girl, Flavia, Roselle, Vetch. Time, 2m 45s Dividend, £1 C/.
