TO-DAY'S PROCEEDINGS.

Thp Conference resumed its sitting's at nine o'clock this morningl with the President in the chair. Much of the business was done in committee and referred to the internal working- of the Church. It was decided to grant a twelve months' rest from the active work of the ministry to the llev. W. ■■Woollass on account, of serious and continued sickness. Six months'leave of absence on account of sickness was granted to the Rev. \V. C. Woodward. Sympathy was expressed with the two ministers in their sickness. It was decided to grant the application of the .Rev. I. W. Jones for superannuation. He has laboured as a minister of the Church for 25 years, has done, much good Work, and is respected throughout the connexion.
