IN BANKRUPTCY.
A sworn statement was made yesterday before Mr J. Lawson, Official Assignee in Bankruptcy, by Adolplie Frederick "VVm. Jietiss, fish-hawker, a bankrupt. The debtor said that for the last three years hife earnings had not exceeded 20/ per week on an average. He had a wife and two young children. His wife had a fish-shop in Mt. Eden Road. The principal cause of Eeuss' filing was through a creditor getting judgment against him for £71, borrowed money/obtained over a period of IS months. The bankrupt has seven creditors for £227 1/. The assets are nil.
