IN BANKRUPTCY.

At the Official Assignee's office yesterday afternoon, at the meeting of creditors in the estate of Alexander P.. Gorrie, clerk, a bankrupt, it was resolved, on the motion of Mr. C. Taylor, seconded by Mr. J. Long, "That the Official Assignee be requested to at once sell the assets and wind up the estate." It was further resolved, on the motion of Mr. J. Long, seconded by Mr. J. M. Gorrie, "That the Official Assignee be requested to convey to Mr. C. Grosvenor the land botight by him from the bankrupt, the position of the land to be as shown on tracingproduced, Mr. Grosvenor to pay the purchase money to the mortgagee to reduce the mortgage."
